I want to present to you this "COMBO CD" . I call it combo because it has a large variety of styles of music. Though songs 1 through 12 and 14 are a story theme... with a happy wonderful conclusion ... the styles of music progress into changes starting with pop , Western , and country with rock flavors - It progresses to a bluesy saga with "LOST". Then to the uppity country rock"COWGIRL BULLBOY MEET" with 6/4 , 4/4 , 13/4 to a 5/4 ending.
Next comes the relaxed "DRINKING COFFEE" .. of a man taking the time to get his head together - pressing on with his journey . Followed by a wonderful mostly instrumental - the "COWBOY INDIAN JESUS UNITES"... an emotional celebration of peace. Next comes the night club sound "CACTUS JACK RAN INTO CACTUS"... a crooner's delight.
To the whammy "WHERE'S THE OUT HOUSE" 6/4 , 30 /16 to 4/4 time signatures. "HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO LAST" is a fast jazzy scatting song. The soloist have much freedom here and have a great time. Then we get out of Cactus Jack's adventures with "MOMMA AT THE SINK"... Jerry's love to his Momma Mary. Back to the adventure with #14 we finish with "I'M BRINGING HOME THE GOLD" Cactus Jack finds where true riches are all along.
